DREAM-CATCHER

I fly up to the sky to hold the silent floating cloud,
I mean to do a lot but I just lose it in the crowd,
And when I feel the wind buzz in my ears,
I feel the world go round and round…

Dream-catcher, would you catch my dreams,
I can feel them here, but I just can’t see,
Dream-catcher, would you catch my dreams,
I can feel them hurt, could you make me bleed…
Dream-catcher…

Mistaken realities in the burnt-out cigarette ends,
It’s a long way, honey, could you drive a little fast?
The destination’s just at the bend,
And I drink to life, I drink again, I drink to celebrate,
It’s better to do nothing at all than to do something you hate…

Dream-catcher, would you hold my dreams,
I swear they’re here, but I just can’t see,
Dream-catcher, could you pick my dreams,
Could you pick me with them, much above the seas…

Dream-catcher, you know how it feels,
To break the chains, to be once more free,
Dream-catcher, could you catch my dreams?
Could you make ‘em rise, could you make me feel?
Dream-catcher…
